Great location close to dining options, the pub's main area, and easy access to the main roads, providing a king room with complimentary drinks and a DVD player.

By and large, it was ideal place for sightseeing in Rugby, had much fun. The stuff where pleasant and affable day and night. The restaurant was nice with friendly and attentive staff here, I had excellant dishes. Remote location of this...  

The units were airy and tidy with shower/bath.

The Golden Lion Hotel in Rugby is a nice little and excellent establishment with cheerful staff providing great service. There is a huge variety of different food options available for meals. The hotel offers efficient check-in and is conveniently located...  

Good reception and friendly people. A 110/220V continental socket in the bath room.

A heavy greasy smell in the pub/restaurant of the hotel. Because of this, we decided to have our beers and diner in Rugby (10 minute drive by car).

Very clean and comfortable room. Restaurant very good.

There was a wedding party and it didn't go quiet until 1pm. Bad timing. Would have liked a room away from the wedding party instead of next door to it. Also, when we left and went to reception, the woman on the desk did not even look at us, let alone ask us how we were!

The breakfast here is excellent, featuring smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, and the staff is attentive, the room is well-appointed with a large bed and down pillows.

Super room, (four poster) wonderful food.

The staff were friendly. The real alea treat and the food delicious.

Such a really good stay for a short business trip. Family-friendly hotel in a beautiful area so close to the Golden Lion, the railway, and the restaurant in the main part of the pub.- Very helpful, efficient people working here.- Plenty of options, great...  

quiet accomodation to good standard ith helpful friendly staff

The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable.

The shower head was too low. I am 6' 2" tall and I had to duck to get my head under the shower.

The Golden Lion Hotel is a genuinely clean and amazing place to stay. The staff are genuinely helpful and the location is quiet and perfect for exploring Rugby. Additionally, it’s close to All Saints, which is a great feature.

As we hear of more and more rural pubs having to close it was great to see a busy thriving establishment (mid-week!).The staff could'nt do enough for us. The food was really good too.

I was'nt keen on having to go outside to reach our rooms from the eating area. It meant darting accross in the rain or having to take a coat. There clearly was an interior entrance but this was not in use? This seems a little tivial now I have written it!

Location was perfect and a very friendly atmosphere.

The room was quite cold as there was only one very small radiator.
